La conception de ce pavillon écologique au sud de Bogotá offre une réponse ouvertement réparatrice. À la dégradation constatée du site, le projet oppose l’empreinte minimale d’une canopée éphémère reconstituée. La structure de câbles tendus, légère et évanescente, révèle la future silhouette de la flore en devenir. Composée de plastique thermique polymère, la couverture à haute résistance contribue à réduire les émissions de CO 2 et à récupérer les eaux de pluie. Elle permettra ainsi de réintroduire des plantes exotiques locales et faire découvrir la biodiversité qui fait l’essence de ce paysage. Avec cet acte simple, mais fort, le projet entend rétablir une pièce de nature manquante entre la ville et la montagne. LINA VALENCIA LOZANO How to rehabilitate the scars left by illegal mining operations? The design of this ecological pavilion in the south of Bogotá offers an explicitly restorative response. To the observed degradation of the site, the project counters with the minimal footprint of a reconstituted ephemeral canopy. The structure of suspended cables, light and evanescent, reveals the future silhouette of the flora to come. Covered a polymeric thermal plastic, the high-resistance cover helps reduce CO2 emissions and collect rainwater. It will allow the (re)introduction of local exotic plants and biodiversity that is the very essence of this landscape.
