62-63 — Annabelle Iszatt Cultivated Envelope Enveloppe plantée La façade est-elle une épaisseur ou une interface ? Le projet interroge l’image et le rôle de l’enveloppe dans une perspective environnementale accrue. Il décline un principe constructif composé de fines lames en grès rouge montées sur une structure métal. Le système, qui intègre l’arrosage de modules plantés, sert de régulateur thermique et acoustique. La façade non porteuse agit également sur la qualité de la lumière et de l’air. Cette enveloppe fabrique une dentelle tramée et rythmée, qui offre une variété de lectures selon les contextes. Le prototype réalisé à Pune démontre son efficacité en climat semi-aride chaud. Décor à part entière, il révèle une atmosphère harmonieusement ajustée entre le minéral et le végétal. Cette réinterprétation de la nature est aussi innovante qu’elle est sobre. The system, which integrates the irrigation of planted modules, serves as a thermal and acoustic regulator. The non-load-bearing façade also has an effect on light and air quality. This envelope produces a patterned and rhythmic lattice, which offers a variety of interpretations depending on the context. The prototype constructed in Pune proves its efficacy in a hot, semi-arid climate. Itself a decorative feature, it reveals an atmosphere harmoniously styled between the mineral and the vegetal.
