Ophélie Férédie
Confluence Institute, Paris, France
Ophélie Férédie is currently completing the RIBA Part II Master’s in Architecture programme at the Confluence Institute in Paris, where her method of study centres on an interdisciplinary approach to architecture in practice. In 2017, she was awarded the Prix Françoise Abella by the Academy of Arts in Paris, which allowed her to take part in various workshops focused on design processes, new technologies and the built environment. Férédie has taken part in two humanitarian-focused workshops in India where she was given the opportunity to share her insight regarding the rehabilitation of colonial constructions with local students. Her most recent professional experience includes working for Studio Odile Decq and taking part in the 2016 Venice Biennale with ArchitekturSalon and the Sto-foundation, which focused on responsive architecture.
Germán Eduardo Ferradas
Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina
Germán Eduardo Ferradas is a student in the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina. He is part of the university’s official assistant programme in addition to working as a university researcher for the Public Housing Politics investigative group. His designs have received mentions and awards from notable international organisations and journals including A-cero and Dezeen, where his work has also been published. Ferradas research focuses on Latin America as a constant field of action. His graduate thesis was selected for publication and presentation as part of the seventh Design as Process Congress, titled ‘Emergencies and Conflicts,’ to be celebrated in Colombia in 2020.
